When your child is ready for preschool they will leave our care well equipped for school. Our curriculum is compiled from several different curriculums to best fit the needs for this special age group.
A parent is always often concerned with what and how well their child is eating. At our daycare, our food is always fresh, healthy, and tasty. Kids quickly develop good eating habits, enjoy eating with friends, and figure out their favorites. Everyone starts out with their own bowl and spoon, and those who have a harder time eating on their own are helped by a teacher. Every snack (morning and evening) includes a helping of fresh fruit.
With life's busy schedules we try to be most accommodating to the regular 9-5 work day. So because of this, the daycare timings are from 8:30 AM - 5:15 PM.
Environment and Play
Matangi Family Daycare is a home daycare, located in a very pleasant neighborhood in Santa Clara. All our kids love coming to daycare because of the great environment and the loving staff, who are all dedicated to each and every child.
The daycare room has a bright kid-friendly atmosphere, that is first and foremost safe. Children have access to many books and toys during their free playtime, and during organized play, they have the opportunity to play with items like play dough, blocks, lacing, puzzles, and many other items that enhance their cognitive skills. Our room is also filled with letters, numbers, colors, and a circle time center (including the weather, letters, the days and months and other features) allowing teachers to incorporate learning during anytime of day.
Our spacious backyard is a perfect outdoor play area for children, designed to provide fun and safety in the heart of Silicon Valley. The yard features a beautiful pergola that offers shade for outdoor activities, while pavers create a clean, secure surface for play. Children can enjoy a variety of outdoor toys, including ride-on cars, to encourage exploration and movement. There’s also an open area where kids can express their creativity with chalk, blow bubbles, and engage in other imaginative play. It’s the ideal space for active, happy outdoor time!
